Cincuenta y Ocho

"58 days?!!" The number displayed on the rather cheesy count-down application which finagled its way into my blog by riding on one of my whims is not so surprising in the fact that I leave so soon but that I cannot believe 47 days have passed since its installation. In that time, I have learned a few phrases in French (je t'aime!), learned how to syntactically diagram "wh-word" sentences, and watched more than a few films, especially those starring Leonor Watling. I've been saddened by the fact that so many movies feature beautiful women alongside unfortunate men (but perhaps the problem is perception on my end...), are set in Paris but spoken in English, and rely on unfortunate stereotypes to sustain a plot involving lesbians.
Well now...this began as a regretful reverie, but aha!! When I dramaticize my petty accomplishments for the public, they become exaggerated and real! I should do this more often...
